Halcyonia Welsh Ponies and Cobs

 Melissa grew up in Saskatchewan riding Welsh since she was just a baby! Growing up out west, she started out riding western, enjoying local fairs, and working cattle in the community pasture each summer as a teenager. She competed in reining, cutting, and working cow horse competitions with her Welsh pony, Spirit, and thoroughly enjoyed it even earning a handful of buckles. She became a Farrier in 2013, and three years later she moved to Ontario. She had dabbled in a bit of English and western all her life, but this was finally her opportunity to start eventing and doing cde's! With starting a family, competing was put on hold for a couple years but in 2025 we have big plans to get out into the show ring again!
